Woman Found Dead in Hotel.
A denver-area woman was found dead in a Vail Village lodge Saturday, police said.
At 8:51 a.m., Vail Police reponded to investigate a medical call at the Christiania Lodge, located at 356 Hanson Ranch Road. When Police arrived, they found the body of Lynne Hamstra, 46, of Englewood, lying on the floor. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Eagle County Coroner's Office and Vail Police are conducting an investigation into the incident. At this time, there is no indication of any suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, police said. The Eagle County Coroner's Office says the cause and manner of death will be determined when an autopsy is completed later this week.
