AN EARLY RESIDENT GONE. The sad news reached here Monday morning of the death of Mrs. Mack FLECK at her home on Eagle river, below Minturn. On October 28 a child was born to the Flecks and mother and infant were getting along nicely up to last Sunday when a sudden change occurred resulting in a few hours in the mother's death.
Mrs. FLECK was the wife of sheriff Mack FLECK and the mother of eleven children, nine of whom survive her. She was a woman of many noble qualities, devoted to home and family and had none but friends among a wide acquaintance. The family were early settlers of Red Cliff and our people remember her with love and respect and extend sympathy to the bereaved ones.
