ANNA K. FLEMING. Services for Mrs. Anna K. FLEMING 89 of Denver, who died at her home after a short illness, were conducted in Denver Tuesday. Entombment was at Fairmount Mausoleum.
Born in Scotch Weedon, Quebec, Canada, Feb.19, 1869, she came to Colorado in 1888 and married John F. FLEMING July 29, 1891 in Leadville.
They lived in Red Cliff, where Mr. FLEMING was a pioneer in lumbering and mercantile business. When the Flemings moved to Denver in the early 1900's, Mr. FLEMING continued to operate his lumber and mercantile business in Red Cliff until his death in 1935. The business is now operated by the Fleming's grandson, John McALLISTER.
Mrs. Fleming was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Bernice McALLISTER, Mrs. Edna McCUSKER and Mrs. Bruce LaFOLLETTE; a son, Jay FLEMING, all of Denver; two sisters, Mrs. Margaret URBAN, Denver and Mrs. Christie MORRISON, Richmond, Quebec; six grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
