JIM GILPIN DIED IN SOUTH AMERICA.
Word was received here last week of the death of Jim GILPIN in South America. Word was received here by Mrs. Hester BERTOCH from Mr. GILPIN's daughter, Pauline in California, who gave no details, but stated that her father's body would be brought back to California for burial.
It was understood that Mr. and Mrs. Thad MEADORS of Grand Junction, and formerly of Eagle,were to go to the coast for funeral services.
Mrs. GILPIN, the former Lottie Van Horn, preceded her husband in death passing away when the family lived in Eagle.
