BILL HARRIS DIED.
William E. HARRIS, Jr. 57, of Eagle died in the Glenwood hospital following a long illness, June 16.
He had lived in the county for 30 years, and was roundhouse foreman for the Denver & Rio Grande Railroad Company.
Mr. HARRIS was born in Birmingham, Ala. may 15, 1912 and was married to Eva BEAVER in Glenwood Springs August 2, 1939. He was a member of Eagle Masonic Lodge of Minturn and Consistory of Grand Junction.
He is survived by his wife, Eva of Eagle; two sons, Wm. E., of Wolcott; and John T. of Eagle; three daughters: Mrs. Tex (Rose Marie) FAULKNER, Eagle; Mrs. John (Carol) DAUGHERTY, Steamboat, and Kathy Jo HARRIS, Eagle. Six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were conducted at the Eagle Methodist Church June 19 by Rev. William BOWDEN and burial was in the Eagle cemetery.
