E.S. YODER died at Canon City, Colo., May 26, 1924, at which place he was buried May 28.

Mr. & Mrs. YODER came to Eagle county in 1880, settling in Eagle park above Pando. Mr. YODER has been engaged at different times at saw milling, ranching, sheep herding, and merchandising at Pando.

A few years ago they moved to Canon City, engaging in the poultry and fruit raising industry.

A stroke of paralysis two years ago, followed up recently by another stroke to which he succumbed, was the cause of his death. Mr. YODER was 88 years of age, and is survived by his widow.

Mr YODER was a charter member of the Pioneers of Eagle County, and of the original thirty-eight members he was the patriarch of them all.
