ACCIDENTS CLAIM TWO.
Auto accidents claimed the lives to two young women whose families live in Eagle. Dead are Marolyn Nunn HARRIS and Janice Lee THOMAS.
Mrs. HARRIS is the daughter of Mrs. Gladys NUNN of Eagle, and Mrs. THOMAS the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence ETTLES of Brush Creek.
MAROLYN HARRIS. Marolyn Grace NUNN, was born in Gypsum, Colorado, August 3, 1933, the daughter of Howard and Gladys NUNN. She spent her childhood in the Eagle, Gypsum and Burns area and graduated from Eagle County High in Gypsum.
She was married to Hugh HARRIS in Grand Junction in 1951. The couple lived in Denver prior to moving to California. Mrs. HARRIS had lived in Chula Vista for the past nine years.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Jerry MAURER in the Lutheran Church in Gypsum, December 9 and burial was in the Gypsum cemetery.
Mrs. Harris is survived by three sons of Grand Junction, Daniel, Donald and Darrel; her mother; four brothers: Donald NUNN, Cambridge, Mass., Howard NUNN, Jr. Arvada, and Alan Dale NUNN, both of Arvada, Colo. and Terry NUNN of Eagle.
Her grandmother, Mrs. Grace OLESEN of California, also survives.
Mrs. HARRIS died at 12:30 AM following a car accident in Chula Vista, Calif., Dec. 5.
