T. D. (Ted) HARRIS, 72, died at Colorado General Hospital in Denver May 10. He had been ill of tuberculosis for the past two years.
Funeral services were held in Grand Junction May 14, and burial was in the family plot at Fruita.
Mr. HARRIS lived for many years in Eagle county, moving to McCoy in 1917, where he made his home until 1942, when he moved to the Grand Junction district..
In 1909 he was married to Miss Nina Robinson in Denver. To this union were born ten children, all of whom survive. Mrs. HARRIS died three years ago.
Four sons served during the second World War and presently there are four boys in the Armed Forces: Hugh, Neal and Eugene all at Buckley Field, Denver; and Darrell with the Army in Denver. Edwin G. lives at Fruita. The surviving daughters are Enid SCOGGINS, Nucla; Helen MASON, Uravan; Lucille BOWERS, Grant; Irene POHNSON, Denver and Lorraine HARRIS, Denver.
