Jack L. Riggan, 56, was born Dec. 20, 1954, and was taken from us May 7 at Swedish Medical Center in Denver. He was a lifetime resident of Colorado and had his residence in Cedaredge at the time of his death.

Jack attended Eagle County Schools and graduated from Battle Mountain High School. Much of his career was spent in the ski industry. He loved the outdoors and had a great love for animals. He had a knack for working with horses and enjoyed the rural and ranch scenes of Colorado.

Jack is survived by the love of his life, Kari Struble of Cedaredge; his mother, Loretta Riggan of Dinosaur; three brothers, Rod (Barb) Riggan of Rulison, Marty (Gail) Riggan of Montrose, and Rick (Marcee) Riggan of Eagle. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Riggan Sr.

Jack will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, May 14, at First Baptist Church in Gypsum, which is located at Second Street and Vicksburg. Services will conclude at the church.

Jack is survived by the love of

Marty Riggan and wife Gail of Montrose, and Rick Riggan and wife
Marcee of Eagle. Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack
Riggan Sr.

2nd and Vicksburg. Services will conclude at the church.
