ANOTHER PIONEER CITIZEN IS CALLED IN DEATH.
Mrs. Laura LIVINGSTON, 79, a longtime resident of Eagle county passed away in Glenwood last Sunday, following a lingering illness.
Mrs. LIVINGSTON, until the past few months, had maintained her home in Eagle, going to Glenwood a short time ago when her failing health called for care, and she was a patient in a private home there at the time of her death. Funeral services were held in Eagle Thursday, Mar. 6, from the Foursquare church and burial was in the Eagle cemetery.
Laura HYDE was born in Dawsonville, Ga., on Dec. 7, 1867, and moved to Breckenridge, Colo., with her parents 12 years later, moving to this county in 1884. On July 24, 1889, she was married to Willard Wallace LIVINGSTON in Red Cliff. To this union was born three sons, all of whom survive.
The family lived for many years on a ranch a short distance east of town, now a part of the Wayne T. JONES ranch, and within a few years past Mrs. LIVINGSTON moved into town to make her home. Because of illness in the families of the children, none of them were present for the funeral. Mrs. LIVINGSTON was one of six children, all but one preceding her in death.
Surviving are her three children, Robert of Euphrata, Wash., Chas. of Casper, Wyo.; and Stewart, the whereabouts of whom is unknown; and a sister, Mrs. Mattie VAN HORN of Bond.
