SHEEPHORN PIONEER DIES AT AGE OF 80.
John C. MATHER, one of the very early settlers of Eagle county, in the Sheephorn, died at his home Saturday, July 3, 1937, at the age of 80 years.
Mr. MATHER came to Sheephorn in 1882, fifty-five years ago, and has been one of the county's most highly respected citizens during all those years.
The deceased is survived by his widow, three daughters--Mattie, Marguerite, Kate; one son, John C. MATHER, jr.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, attended by a large concourse of old friends, who sorrowfully laid to rest a good neighbor and outstanding citizen.
