Santiago Pedro “Jim†Espinoza,
94, died Aug. 11, 2010.
Services will be at 10 a.m.
Monday at St. Michael’s Catholic
Church in Delta. Interment
will follow at Delta City Cemetery.
Survivors include six sons,
Don of Denver, Dan of Delta,
Manuel of Fountain Valley, Calif.,
Henry of Neguanee, Mich,,
Bernie of Craig, and Bennie of
Grand Junction; four daughters,
Pat Yoshida, Betty Aragon,
Matilda Trujillo and Mary Rose
Miller, all of Delta; 26 grandchildren;
45 great-grandchildren;
and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

Santiago Pedro "Jim" Espinoza
passed away on August 11, 2010
after courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on July 25, 1916
in Trinidad, Colorado to Thomas
and Concepcion (Trujillo) Espinoza.
He married Antonita Sanchez on
January 11, 1938 in Paonia, Colorado. They were married 59 wonderful
years until her death in 1997.
Jim loved to fish and camp but mostly he loved spending time with
his family playing cards and other games. He was a huge Broncos
fan and was not to be disturbed during a game.
Jim is survived by his sons, Don and Priscilla of Denver; Dan and
Mary of Delta; Manuel and Glennis of Fountain Valley, California;
Henry and Sheila of Neguanee, MI; Bernie and Judy of Craig, and
Bennie of Grand Junction; daughters, Pat and Jiro Yoshida; Betty
Aragon; Matilda and Felix Trujillo, and Mary Rose and Drew
Miller, all of Delta. He is also survived by 26 grandchildren, 45
great grandchildren and 13 great great grandchildren.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife; his son, Louie Jim; his
daughter, Connie; daughter-in-law, Lillian; son-in-law, Benji;
grandsons, George Greaves and George Salas and grandson-in-law,
Tim Davis.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 16, 2010, at
10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Delta, Colorado with
Father Henry Aguwa, officiating. Interment will follow in Delta City
Cemetery in Delta, Colorado.
