Rosemary Alice Casto, 61, Delta,
died July 15, 2010, at Swedish Medical
Center in Englewood.
Visitation is from 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday
at Martin Mortuary. Services will be
at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Casto was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Jack
Sr.; one son, Jack Jr. of Whitewater; one
daughter, Alice Sackett of Grand Junction;
one brother, Dan Ames of Bedrock;
and six grandchildren.

Rosemary Casto passed away
July 15, 2010 at the Swedish
Medical Center, Englewood, CO,
she was 61.
Rosemary was born on September
25, 1948 in Grand Junction,
CO from the union of Hal and
Geraldine (Grady) Ames. Rosemary
grew up in Gateway, CO
and graduated from Gateway
High School.
On February 23, 1969 she married the love of her life, Jack Casto
in Gateway and from this loving union two children were born, Jack
Jr. and Alice.
For the next 41 years it was an adventure. After the family sold
their ranch in Gateway in 1999, they moved to Delta, where they
were always busy doing or going somewhere from touring with the
four wheeling club, the Thunder Mountain Wheelers to camping and
fishing. She also enjoyed canning, photography, gardening, boating
and cooking for her family. She was a member of the Cattlewomen's
Association for many years.
Rosemary loved her grandkids, and she would always say "If I had
known how much fun grandkids were, we would have had them
first".
Rosemary leaves behind her husband of 41 years, Jack Casto Sr. of
Delta, CO; a son, Jack (Felicia) Casto Jr. of Whitewater, CO and a
daughter, Alice (Darby) Sackett of Grand Junction, CO. The light of
her eyes, her six grandchildren, Matt, Caleb, Kaylin, Kylee, Dylan
and Cole. Other survivors include a brother, Dan Ames of Bedrock,
CO and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death
by her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 21,
2010 at Martin Mortuary with a visitation time from 9 - 10:00 a.m.
prior to service time. Burial will take place in Orchard Mesa Cemetery
following services.
