Heidi Michelle Gilmer, formerly of Eagle, passed away peacefully in Grand Junction on June 11.
Her early years were spent in Eagle where she attended Eagle Valley Middle School and Eagle Valley High School. Due to medical reasons, she spent the last 22 years at Hill Top Rehabilitation in Grand Junction.
Heidi enjoyed many types of arts and crafts and especially loved following the Denver Broncos and attended several home games. She also looked forward to Country Jam concerts each summer.
Heidi was preceded in death by her father Richard (Shorty) and mother Sandra Gilmer. She is survived by her sister, Amy, of Basalt, brother David of Missoula, Mont., and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Heidi's life will take place later this summer.
