ED BAILEY DIES IN MISSOURI.
Word was received in Eagle Tuesday night that Ed BAILEY, prominent rancher of the Burns neighborhood, had passed away at Liberty, Mo., that evening.
Mr. and Mrs. BAILEY had gone to Liberty several months ago from their ranch near Burns, making the trip because of his poor health. Since he arrived there his condition became steadily worse, and early Tuesday his brother, Alton, who has been looking after the ranch, was sent for. Mr. BAILEY died after his brother had boarded the train for Missouri. Funeral services and burial were held in Missouri today.
Mr. BAILEY's mother, Mrs. John BAILEY, resides at Holt, Mo., and has spent most of her summers at the ranch with her son since her husband died a few years ago. He is also survived by a son, Harold, in the service, and a daughter, Lois Marie; his widow, Clementine and two step-daughters, Cornelia BOBITT [sic. BOBBITT] of Eagle, and Odehlia STEELE of Burns.
