George E. BAILEY was born in Trumbull county, Ohio, Nov. 7, 1863. He entered into rest February 14, 1922, aged 58 years and 4 months.
Mr. BAILEY came west during the Leadville boom and engaged in mining. About fifteen years ago he came to Eagle county and located at McCoy where he lived until his death.
We wish, however, to speak more especially of his social and religious life. By nature, Mr. BAILEY drew men to him and made as many friends as acquaintances, of all classes and ages. He was a member of the Congregational church at McCoy. His affability and christian character was such as to cause the whole community to vie with each other in paying honor to his life and extending their sympathy in his last illness and death. A widow, a step son, three brothers and a sister survive who can console themselves with the happy fact that he has entered unto the reward of the righteous and "his works do follow him." -- A FRIEND.
