Emelia Esther Wilmoth, age 96, passed away Monday, August 16,
2010 at the Hospice Care Center.
Emelia was born August 9, 1914 in Waupaca, WI to Adam and
Mary (Isaac) Luft. She married Perry Clinton Wilmoth. He preceded
her in death. Emelia was a resident of Ft. Lupton, where she
and Perry owned and operated a real estate business. In 2009, Emelia
moved to Grand Junction to be closer to her family.
Emelia enjoyed attending church and her church family and reading,
but her greatest joy was her family.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Oleson; two grandchildren,
Amy Oleson and Laura Dickey; and two great grandchildren, Emily
and Jacob Dickey all of Grand Junction. In addition to her husband,
Emelia was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Larry Oleson; her
parents; and three brothers.
A memorial service will be held Friday, August 20, 2010 at 2:00
P.M. at Mesa View Retirement Residence Chapel with Pastor David
Haberkorn officiating. Cremation preceded this service with inurnment
in Fairmont Cemetery, Denver, CO at a later date.
