MRS. CLIFFORD BAKER. Funeral services were held April 6 in Walden for the late Hilda LAMAN BAKER, wife of Clifford BAKER.
Mrs. BAKER was born Jan. 16, 1919 in Grand Valley the daughter of Pearl and Emil LAMAN and spent her early life in the McCoy area in Eagle County. She was graduated from both schools at McCoy, where she was valedictorian in the eighth grade and senior class. She died at her home in Walden on April 3 after a brief illness.
She was married on Jan. 21, 1939 and they were parents of five children. A son, Russell Lee, preceded her in death at the age of 18 months.
Mrs. BAKER is survived by her husband; three sons, Clifford, Leonard and Larry; one daughter, Karen Su all of Walden; five brothers, Willie, Louis and Marvin, all of McCoy; and Fred of Fraser and Robert of Erie; three sisters, Buelah MILES, Modesto, Calif., Annie HENRY, Kremmling and Louise RAY of Toponas. Her parents, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.
Pallbearers were dick BURT, Darrel RAY, Bill JOHANNBROER, Jack BOOCO, Max SPITELLIE, and Vance RICHARDSON. Burial was in Walden.
