Karen K. Walker passed away
from natural causes September
29, 2010 at La Villa Grande Care
Center. She has been a resident of
Colorado for 36 years.
Karen was born on July 2, 1951
in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Robert
and Maxine Perkins. Karen loved
camping and fishing and the great
outdoors. She was always a big
help to her family when needed.
Karen is survived by her husband, Larry Walker; her mother,
Maxine Perkins of Clifton, CO; two brothers, Walt (Marguerite)
Perkins of Loma, CO; Darrell (Georgia) Perkins of Grand Junction,
CO; three sisters, Yvonne Rivir of Nixo, MO; Janet (William)
Mitchell of Grand Junction, CO; Linda (George) Lenczycki of
Genoa City, Wisconsin and many nieces and nephews. Karen was
preceded in death by an infant sister, Talitha Perkins and her father,
Robert Lee Perkins.
Memorial services will be held at Mesa Funeral Service on Saturday,
October 2, 3:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in
Karen’s honor to Hospice.
