Grand Junction Daily Sentinel - October 8, 2010

Nathan Paul Buller, age 71,
passed away peacefully at Larchwood
Inn Skilled Nursing Center
in Grand Junction, CO on Tuesday,
October 5, 2010. A longtime
resident of Clifton, CO, he was
born in Fairview, Oklahoma on
Easter Sunday, April 16, 1939, to
Paul and Sylvia Buller. The family
moved to Palisade, CO. in
1954 and worked the peach orchards.
An avid hunter and fisherman, Nathan took advantage of the outdoor
life that Colorado had to offer. Nathan graduated the Colorado
School of Mines with a degree in drafting. He worked at Mesa College
in the PE department.
Nathan enjoyed collecting and was a shrewd yardsaler and devoted
gardner. One of his greatest accomplishments was the design
and building of his own home. Although it took him several years,
he succeeded in making a beautiful home for his family.
A spiritual man, Nathan attended New Haven Church in Palisade,
CO. He loved gospel music and especially enjoyed his wife and
daughters singing. He was a true friend and always willing to lend a
helping hand or at least spin a tall tail or outlandish fish story. He
never refused a cup of coffee.
Nathan is survived and will be missed by his wife of 38 years,
Margory Buller; daughters, Sandra (David) Cook of Arizona; Tammra
(David) Jones of Montrose, Colorado; Tammy (Glen) Echer of
Grand Junction; 14 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; siblings,
Shirley Houlihan, Kathy Dunagan, and David Buller. He was preceded
in death by a previous wife and a daughter.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 9, at 10:00 a.m.
at New Haven Church, 426 Kluge Ave., Palisade, CO, Reverend
Bob Carey officiating. Burial will follow at Palisade Cemetery.
To all his friends who visited, we thank you from the bottom of our
hearts. We love you Dad!
Arrangements entrusted to Snell-McLean Funeral Home.
