Shirley Mae Holt, 81, Austin,
died Oct. 10, 2010, at Horizons
Care Center in Eckert.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2
p.m. Wednesday at Taylor Funeral
Service Chapel in Delta.
Services will at 2 p.m. Wednesday
at the chapel. Burial will be
at Mesa View Cemetery.
Survivors include her husband,
Curtis; three sons, Dennis
of Dearborn, Mo., Gregory of
La Junta and Jeffry of Crested
Butte; one brother, Chesley
“Bud†Hill of Pleasant View,
Tenn.; and four grandchildren.

Shirley Mae Holt passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Horizons
Care Center in Eckert, Colorado of Alzheimer’s Disease with
which she had suffered for nearly three years.
Shirley was born on May 12, 1929 to Ches and Mae Hill in St.
Louis, MO.
She and Curt were married May 29, 1948 in St. Louis, MO. They
had just celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary. They moved
from Missouri to Colorado in 1973. Shirley and Curt had three sons,
Dennis, Gregory and Jeffry; four grandchildren, Jon, Michael, Hilary,
and Trevor.
Shirley’s family would like to thank the Horizons Care Center and
the wonderful staff for the caring and compassion shown to Shirley.
They were all great.
