Thelma D. Hill April 25, 1925 – January 5, 2011 Thelma D. (Presley) Hill passed away January 5, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center in Grand junction after a sudden illness. Thelma was born to William Walter Presley and Mamie Leroy Presley (Seagraves) April 25th, 1925 near Sallisaw, Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her father and mother; brothers, Levi and Odus Presley; sisters, Ruby and Jewel Presley and a daughter, Angie Lee who passed away June 17th, 2010 in Worley, Idaho. She is survived by her children, Rick (Vickie) Chilton of Aurora, CO; William (Radonna) Bondurant of Clifton, CO; Betty McMahan of Grand Junction, CO and Russell (Erlinda) Bondurant of Grand Junction, CO. She is also survived by her love of 16 years, Lonnie Hall of Grand Junction, CO. She was a much treasured grandmother to 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Thelma had a love of music since her early teens when her brother taught her how to play the guitar. She had been singing and writing songs and poetry for decades and even had one of her poems published of which she was very proud. She trusted in the Lord for all her needs and was never let down. She always said "God will provide" and He always did. She often would sing her songs while playing her guitar in church to the enjoyment of all. Thelma spent many hours in her life gardening and everyone enjoyed the fruits of her labor. She will be missed greatly but she is now singing with the angels in Heaven. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m., January 8, 2011 at Martin Mortuary with burial following at Grand Junction Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A reception will follow at Lighthouse Christian Center.
