Maxine H. Kottmann passed
away Monday, October 11, 2010
in Cortez, CO. Maxine was born
March 7, 1921 in Nortonville, KS.
She grew up in Nortonville and
graduated from high school and
also business college in Atchinson,
KS.
She married Osmond Kottmann
on March 14, 1943 in Atchinson,
KS. They later moved to Grand Junction where they resided for over
50 years and raised their four children.
Maxine was know for her baking skills, winning smile and always
helping others.
She is survived by her sister; her daughter, Brenda Kottmann of
Denver, CO; sons, Gary of Golden, CO; Steve of Prince George,
BC, Canada, and Dean of Dolores, CO; six grandchildren and three
great grandchildren.
Services will be held at Callahan-Edfast Morturary Saturday, October
16, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Monday October
18, 2010 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery on D Road.
