Evelyn W. Osborn passed away
on October 16, 2010. She was 84
years old.
Evelyn was born on October 4,
1926 in Collbran, CO to Harley
and Mary (Duffy) Williams. She
attended school in Collbran and
graduated from Collbran Union
High School in 1944.
She married Bert Raymond Osborn
on January 15, 1946 in
Grand Junction and enjoyed more
than 48 years with him.
Evelyn was a loving wife,
mother, grandmother, sister, aunt
and friend. She was happy to be a
homemaker, and loved taking
care of her family. She enjoyed
gardening and never forgot
anyone’s birthday.
Evelyn was preceded in death by
her husband, Ray in 1994; one
brother; three sisters; one grandson
and one great grandson. She is survived by a son, Loren R. Osborn
of Clifton; daughter, Karen L. Osborn of Clifton; brother, Edward
Williams of Grand Junction; sisters, Agnes Slaughenhaupt of
Corey, CO; Joan Hutton of Grand Junction, CO; Betty Hawkins of
Molina, CO; five grandchildren, Chris, Brad, Amber, Brandy, and
Caitlin; four great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service at the Orchard Mesa Cemetery will be held on
Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Odd Fellows Section.
Pastor Ted Miller will officiate.
Snell-McLean Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.

Clifton, died Oct. 16, 2010, at St.
Mary’s Hospital. Services will
be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Orchard
Mesa Cemetery.
Mrs. Osborn was a homemaker.
Survivors include one son,
Loren R. of Clifton; one daughter,
Karen L. of Clifton; one
brother, Edward Williams of
Grand Junction; three sisters,
Betty Hawkins of Mesa, Joan
Hutton of Grand Junction and
Agnes Slaughenhaupt of Cory;
six grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
