The community was saddened on Friday afternoon by the death of Mrs. Dessie Beck. She had been ailing for some weeks, but her condition was not considered serious, and on Friday she seemed to be better. She leaves to mourn her passing six sons, Bud, Buster, Quinn, Bruce, Jack and Russell. Funeral services were held in the Community church here Tuesday afternoon, and the body was laid to rest beside that of her husband, who passed on several years ago. The sympathy of the community goes out to those who mourn her passing.
