Norman Ross Stancliff, 73,
Fruita, died Oct. 16, 2010, at St.
Mary’s Hospital. Visitation will
be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Living
Waters Baptist Church. Services
will be at 10 a.m. Saturday
at the church.
Survivors include three sons,
Doug of Grand Junction, Joel
of Clifton and Steven of Fruita;
two daughters, Amy of Fort Collins
and Julie of Denver; two
brothers, Lloyd of Illinois and
Richard of Michigan; one sister,
Joann Lowe of Pennsylvania;
three grandchildren; and 11
great-grandchildren.

Norman Ross Stancliff was
called home on Saturday, October
16, 2010. He was reunited
with his parents, Verdie and Ida
Stancliff, and his wife, life partner,
and best friend Lynnette.
Norman was a long time resident
of Fruita, CO, and an active
member of the Living Water
Baptist Church. He was blessed
with a beautiful singing voice and praised the Lord with it throughout
his life.
He also enjoyed participating at the Wednesdays Power Lunch the
church provides for the F.M.H.S. students. Norman was born in East
St. Louis, IL., in 1937. Throughout his life he enjoyed being part of
a loving and caring family.
He is survived by his children, Steven, Joel, Douglas, Julie, and
Amy. He enjoyed a close relationship with his siblings, Lloyd, Richard,
and Joann. His pride and joy were his grandchildren, Shane,
Misty, Austin and their families, which included 13 great grandchildren.
There will be a celebration of Norman's life at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday,
October 23, 2010 at the Living Water Baptist Church. A
visitation will be prior to celebration at 1822 J 1/3 Road, Fruita.
Praise the Lord.
