Frank M. BELDING, a well known citizen of the county and business man of Eagle, died on Saturday, February 11. Mr. BELDING had been in ill health for a number of years from heart trouble and his demise was not unlooked for. The remains were taken to the deceased's former home in Michigan for interment. Mrs. BELDING and one son survive him.

Died Saturday, 11 February 1899, Frank M. BELDING, age 49 years and 28 days. Born Moscow, Hillsdale County, MI on 14 January 1850. Descended from Richard Belding of Staffordshire, England who was one of the earliest settlers of Wethersfield, CT ca. 1640. BELDING arrived CO 1870 and engaged in mining in many parts of the state; Leadville 1879-1880. In 1887 he established a store at Dotsero, Eagle County and resided there until 1893. In 1888 he married Miss Ellen O'Neill of Dotsero who survives him along with son, Ralph, age 8 years. He came to Eagle in 1893. The remains sent to Michigan where his mother lives. He was a member of the Masonic order.
