Frances B. Zelaznowski passed
away on June 29, 2011 at the
Hospice Care Center, surrounded
by her loving family. She was 79
years old.
Fran was born on June 8, 1932
to Harry and Frances (McNutt)
Meeks in Philadelphia, PA. She
married John C. Zelaznowski.
Fran was a housewife, mother,
grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She never had a harsh
word to say about anyone. She
put everyone else's needs before
her own. She loved everyone and
that love was reciprocated.
Frances was preceded in death
by her husband, John and son,
John Michael Zelaznowski, Jr.
She is survived by her son,
James R. Zelaznowski of Grand
Junction; daughters, Patricia
Taan; Sandy (Richard) Perkinson; Barbara (Michael Glassel) Topai,
and Carol (Louie) Canada; grandchildren, Sean and Crystal
Zelaznowski; Michael, Septimber and Jennifer Topai; Ryan and Tiffany
Canada, and Angela Glassel; great-grandchildren, Ebony
Zelaznowski and Sophie Topai; brothers, Harry and Bobby Meeks,
and sister, Catherine Bazinet.
A visitation will take place at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary on Saturday,
July 2, 2011 from 9 - 10:00 a.m. Memorial services start at
10:00 a.m. and burial will follow at New Elmwood Cemetery in
Fruita.
