J. R Bruce BELLILE died March 31 at the North Colorado Medical Center. BELLILE was 65 years old.
He lived in Greeley and was born on June 16, 1932, in Lansing, Mich., to Laurence A. and Grace M. (SOUIER) BELLILE. He was married to Joan L. JOHNSON on August 20, 1955, in Berkeley, Mich.
BELLILE worked as a meat cutter for 17 years. He was self-employed, running a deli in Eagle for 10 years. BELLILE was the director of building and grounds for Eagle County Schools, retiring July 1997.
After retiring, the couple moved to Greeley. He served on the school board for five years and the Boy Scouts Advisory Board for two years in Harbor, Mich.
BELLILE was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Greeley where he participated in the church choir and taught Sunday School. He also volunteered with the IRS assisting senior citizens with taxes. He and his wife were youth directors at Gesthemanie Lutheran Church in Berkeley, Mich.
BELLILE is survived by his wife Joan in Greeley; son, Michael B. and wife Gladys BELLILE of Parachute; daughter, Julie REIMERS and husband John of Greeley; sister, Melissa MITCHELL of Lapeer, Mich.; and three grandchildren.
BELLILE is preceded in death by his sister Susan OSS and brother Dennis BELLILE. Memorial Services were held April 3 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
