Roy Edward BELLM of 824 Capitol Hill, Canon City, died Wednesday, April 9, following an extended illness.
He was born in Hagerstorm, Illinois, Jan. 17, 1902.
Mr. BELLM, a retired miner, had lived in Colorado since 1905 including many years in Minturn and Leadville. He moved to Canon City in 1976.
His wife, Edith Ellen BIRD, survives him. They were married June 8, 1924 in New Castle. Two sons also survive: Grant BELLM of Canon City and Harold (Curly) BELLM of Minturn. Mr. BELLM had six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A brother, Raymond BELLM of Glenwood Springs and a sister, Ida STEVENS also of Glenwood Springs, survive.
Services were held Friday, April 11, at Andrews Funeral Home with Father Ronald ROCHE officiating. Interment was at Mountain Vale Memory Gardens of Canon City.
