Gildardo Rascon Ferrales “Lalo" passed away at 71 years old unexpectadly
of a massive heart attack. Gildardo was born and raised
in Sahuaripa, Sonora Mexico.
He was one of seven children born to Altagracia Ferrales and
Mariano Rascon and was the beloved husband of Mary Cecilia Rascon.
"Don Lalo" will forever be remembered by his devoted surviving
brothers, Angelina, Emelina, Rosa Amelia and Raul Rascon. He was
the father of five, Ana Alicia, Sergio, Arcelia, Maria Isabel, and
Gildardo Rascon who loved him very much; step-sons, Douglas
Aarness and Richard Girten; step-daughter, Cindy Martinez and
many grandchildren.
He touched the lives of many people with his generosity, and
maintained his trademark sense of humor all the way to the end. He
enjoyed working in his garden, loved hunting and spending time
with friends listening to music.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on
Thursday, July 14, 2011, 5 - 7:00 and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Callahan-
Edfast Mortuary with a funeral service on Friday, July 15 at
Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m.
