Dorothy (Riggle) Hamlett April 17, 1932 - January 29, 2011 Dorothy (Riggle) Hamlett passed away at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction, CO on January 29, 2011. She was 78 years old. Dorothy was born to Bryan Talbert and Agnes Hoback on April 17, 1932 in Grand Junction, CO. She spent all of her childhood in the Grand Valley and attended High School in Loma, CO. She was married to the late William C. Riggle and through this union was born three sons and two daughters; Gary, Phillip, Tim, Kris, and Kay. Dorothy enjoyed spending her time with friends and family, including her cat Gertie. She loved to garden and held a variety of different jobs throughout her life. She was a true Grand Valley Native; spending all of her life here. Dorothy was also a member of the Grand Junction Moose Lodge. She was known and loved by so many, and will be deeply missed. Dorothy is preceded in Death by her two sons, Gary and Phillip Riggle, her parents Bryan and Agnes, her brother Beman Talbert, and her sister Virginia Hoover. Dorothy is survived by children Kris Smith of Grand Junction, CO, Kay Gibson of Grand Junction, CO, and Tim Riggle of Highlands Ranch, CO. Dorothy is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at the Clifton Christian Church: 615 I-70 Business Loop, Clifton, CO. 81520 at 10a.m. A graveside will immediately follow at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
