Virgil Lee Titus, 72, Grand
Junction, died Feb. 2, 2011, at
Hospice Care Center.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday
at Victory of Life Church,
2066 U.S. Highway 6&50 in
Fruita.
Mr. Titus was a barber.
Survivors include his wife,
Lavon; one son, Brian; one
daughter, Linda Lenhart;
four sisters, Maxine Davis of
Olathe, Ruth Angerhofer of
Edgemont, S.D., Thelma Archuletta
of West Valley City, Utah,
and Stella Trujillo of Greeley;
and four grandchildren.

Our dear father, Virgil Lee Titus went home to be with our Lord on
February 2, 2011.
Born in Delta, Colorado to Ben and Lucile Titus, he was the eldest
of four (surviving) sisters, Maxine Davis, Ruth Angerhofer, Thelma
Archuleta, and Stella Trujillo. As a child he lived in Paonia and
Hotchkiss areas. After graduating from Hotchkiss High School in
1958 he attended barber school in Pueblo. His career as a barber
lasted 45 years.
Surviving family members include Lavon Ingels, wife of 38 years;
daughter, Linda Lenhart; son, Brian Titus, and four grandchildren.
He attended Victory Life Church in Fruita. Services will be held on
Tuesday, February 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Victory Life Church,2066
Hwy. 6 & 50, in Fruita and he will be laid to rest at the New Elmwood
Cemetery in Fruita.
