Nancy Rue Byers of Vail died
Thursday evening, January 27.
She was born in Minneapolis,
Minnesota on August 3, 1939 to
Maynard and Kathryn Rue.

fullest-running a business and
enjoying skiing, fly fishing,
hunting, golf, hiking, biking and
travel with her family and friends
who shared her passion for life.
Nancy is survived by her daughters, Martha and her husband, Rob
Carson, and Amy and her husband, Claes Holm; grandchildren,
Josh, Mitchell, Paige, Sam, Anneli, Gabriella and Fletcher; sister,
Kathy Parrott and her husband, Michael; and partner, Carl Swenson.
She was married to Don Byers until his death in 1996. Nancy was a
loving mother, mother-in-law, Nana, sister, aunt and friend.
A memorial service will be held at Nancy's home: 352A Beaver
Dam Circle, Vail on Monday February 7 at 11:00 a.m. A reception
will be held after the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Nancy's
memory to The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 1355 S. Colorado Blvd,

Nancy Rue Byers of Vail died Thursday evening, Jan. 27. She was born in Minneapolis, Minn., on Aug. 3, 1939, to Maynard and Kathryn Rue.

Nancy lived life to the fullest — running a business and enjoying skiing, fly fishing, hunting, golf, hiking, biking and travel with her family and friends who shared her passion for life.

Nancy is survived by her daughters Martha and her husband, Rob Carson, and Amy and her husband, Claes Holm; grandchildren Josh, Mitchell, Paige, Sam, Anneli, Gabriella and Fletcher; sister Kathy Parrott and her husband, Michael; and companion Carl Swenson. She was married to Don Byers until his death in 1996. Nancy was a loving mother, mother-in-law, Nana, sister, aunt and friend.

A memorial service will be held at Nancy's home, 352A Beaver Dam Circle in Vail, at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 7. Friends and family are welcome. Valet parking service will be available. A reception will be held after the service.
