Felix Tony Armenta of Loma
passed away February 10, 2011 at
his home at the age of 92.
Felix was born April 23, 1918 in
Del Norte, CO to Miguel Ojida
and Josepha Armenta. He spent
his childhood and attended school
in Del Norte. He has been a resident
of Loma for 59 years. Felix
was a Painter by trade. On October
4, 1947, Felix married Patty Thomas. She passed away July 26,
2000.
Felix served his country during World War II with the U.S. Army.
He enjoyed wood working and was a member of Sacred Heart
Catholic Church.
Survivors include his son, Robert Armenta of Wheat Ridge, CO;
daughters, Wilma Archuleta of Fruita and Andrea Archuleta of
Grand Junction; sisters, Josie Manzanares, Tina Manzanares, Lucille
Espinosa and Helen Pacheco; 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren
and seven great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 16, 2011 from 5 -
7:00 p.m. with at Rosary at 7:00 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in
Fruita. The Mass will be Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the church.
Burial will follow in New Elmwood Cemetery.
