Lourae Boughan, 72,
Grand Junction, died Feb. 23,
2011, at Family Health West
Hospital.
Services will be at 2 p.m.
Saturday at Westgate Baptist
Church. Burial will be at a later
date at Greenmount Cemetery
in Durango.
Mrs. Boughan was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband,
Eldon D.; one son, Adam
of Grand Junction; three daughters,
Deann Sanchez of Durango
and Kristie Boughan and Stacie
Young, both of Grand Junction;
her stepmother, Betty Koon of
Tennessee; four brothers, Orion
Koon of Durango, Billy Koon of
California, Rory Koon of Tennessee
and Jake Dalla of Durango;
two sisters, Patricia Grebe of
Tennessee and Mary Lynn Dalla
of Loma; seven grandchildren;
and two great-grandchildren.

Lourae Boughan, age 72, passed
away from natural causes at Family
Health West Hospital on February
23, 2011.
Lourae was born on July 1, 1938
in Durango, Colorado to Gilbert
and Lena (Tulio) Koon. She spent
her childhood in Durango, graduating
from Durango High School.
She married Eldon Boughan on
September 11, 1959 in Durango. He survives. Lourae was a homemaker.
She resided in Grand Junction for 13 years. She was a member
of Westgate Free Will Baptist Church in Grand Junction. Lourae
was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother
and friend.
Lourae is survived by her husband of 51 years, Eldon; stepmother,
Betty Koon of TN; son, Adam Boughan of Grand Junction; daughters,
Deann Sanchez of Durango, CO; Kristie Boughan, and Stacie
(Mark) Young of Grand Junction; brothers, Orion Koon of Durango,
CO; Billy Koon of CA; Rory Koon of TN; Jake Dalla of Durango,
CO; sisters, Patricia Griebe of TN, and Mary Lynn Dalla of Loma,
CO; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by both her parents and brother, Gary Koon.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at
2:00 p.m. at Westgate Free Will Baptist Church at 543 31 Road,
Grand Junction, CO. Pastor Travis Shuck will officiate. Burial,
(TBD) at a later date, will be at Greenmount Cemetery, Durango,
CO.
