Lew Livingston August 17, 1926 – January 16, 2011 Lewis Elwood Livingston of Meeker, CO born in Manti, Utah August 17, 1926, passed away Sunday, January 16, 2011 at age 84. Early in life he was a sheep rancher. He served in WWII. He sold real estate in Meeker for over 25 years. Lew L. was granted Serenity, Courage, and Wisdom one day at a time. Survivors are best friend and cousin, Dick (Nyla) Merriam of Meeker; son, Samuel J. Livingston (Wendy) of Wilsonville, Oregon; daughter, Lori V. Livingston Hanby of West Valley City, Utah; son, Elwood D. Livingston (Kim) of Glendale, Arizona; 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; his sister, Dr. Virginia L. Bean; brother, Joe (Barbara); many cousins, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday, February 5 at 9:00 a.m. with funeral following at 10:00 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 903 3rd St. in Meeker. Burial will follow in the Craig cemetery. Lew requests donations be made to Meals On Wheels, c/o Pioneers Hospital, Meeker, CO 81641.
