Memorial services for James Louis BONI of Eagle were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Eagle.
Mr. BONI died Tuesday, Nov. 21, at his home. He was 70 years old.
Mr. BONI was born Jan. 1, 1919, in Glenwood Springs, the son of Louis and Viola BONI. He was a rancher in the Sweetwater area, and also worked as a big game guide. He later became a jailer for five years.
Mr. BONI was a member of the International Order of Odd Fellows. He loved to be with people, and also enjoyed the outdoors.
Surviving are his sister, Mary BELL of Eagle; a nephew, Clarence BELL of Denver and his wife, Vicky; and several cousins.
Burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Gypsum followed Friday's services.
Farnum-Richardson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
