Gordon Leslie Steidel, Sr.,
85, Mesa, died Feb. 28, 2011, at
Hospice Care Center.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m.
to noon Friday at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary. Services will be
at noon at the mortuary. Burial
will follow at Palisade Municipal
Cemetery.
Mr. Steidel was a retired pilot
for U.S. Airways.
He is survived by his son,
Gordon Jr.; three daughters,
Sharon P. Steidel of Alexandria,
Va., and Elizabeth H. Moore of
Parker, Debra Steidel of Driftwood,
Texas; fi ve brothers, Albert
E., Lauren O., Mansfi eld R.,
William G., and David, W. all of
Virginia; eight grandchildren;
and three great-grandchildren.
