Frank G. Schlutter, age 88, of
Grand Junction, passed away July
26, 2011.
Frank was born July 30, 1922 to
William and Iva Schlutter in Gypsum,
CO. He spent his childhood
in Gypsum and Eagle, CO. Frank
attended and graduated from
Gypsum High School. He married
Naomi L. Heiner in Eagle,
CO on May 21, 1944. He loved spending time in his garden and
with his family.
He is survived by his two sons, Howard L. Schlutter (Ann) of Ogden
UT, and Ronald L. Schlutter of Clifton; one sister, Helen
Johnson of Grand Junction; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, William and
Iva Schlutter; two sisters, Ruth Daley, and Billie Hicks, and one
grandson, Brian Schlutter.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 8 - 10:00
a.m. at Martin Mortuary. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m.
at Martin Mortuary. Burial to follow at Memorial Gardens on North
Avenue.

Visitation will be from 8 to 10
a.m. Saturday at Martin Mortuary
followed by a service and
burial at 10 a.m. at Memorial
Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Schlutter was an insurance
agent.
Survivors include two sons,
Ron of Clifton and Howard of
North Ogden, Utah; one sister,
Helen Johnson of Grand Junction;
four grandchildren; and
six great-grandchildren.
