Memorial services for former Eagle County resident Alfred Earl BOORE were held in Axtell Church in Axtell, Utah, on Oct. 8.
Mr. BOORE died in Gunnison (Utah) County Hospital on Oct. 6. He was 53.
Alfred BOORE was born in Phippsburg, Colo., on Jan. 30, 1932, the son of Earl and Viola BOORE. He was raised in the Eagle community and graduated from Eagle High School in 1950.
He served with the U.S. Army for two years during the Korean conflict. He was married to Audrey METHENY on May 26, 1956, in Glenwood Springs.
Mr. BOORE is survived by his wife Audrey; one son, Danny, of Axtell; two daughters, Sandra HEATH and Nancy BOORE, both of Axtell; his mother, Viola BOORE; five sisters, Josie PACE of Lehi, Utah, Carol MOORE of Wolcott, Evelyn MULLEN of Craig, Earlene McGINNIS of Eagle, and Sharon WENDT of Willisa, Alaska; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.
Military services were conducted by the Centerfield, Utah, American Legion post. Interment was at Centerfield (Utah) Cemetery.
