Leo passed away Sunday, March
6, 2011 at the age of 95 years.
Leo was the second oldest of six
siblings born to Polish parents
Anna Kolisnyak Jazdzyk and
Matthew Jazdzyk of New York.
From early childhood until retirement
Leo resided in Michigan.
After retirement he moved to Grand Junction and married Helen
Vannoy.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Helen Jazdzyk; daughter,
Dee (Ralph); son, Jeff (Judy); step daughter, Melanie (Sean) and
brother, Matt. Leo has 12 grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and
one great great grandchild.
Leo will be greatly missed by his family and friends and we will all
cherish our memories of him.
Viewing will be on Thursday, March 10 from 6 - 8:00 p.m. at
Martin Mortuary, 550 North Ave. Funeral services to be held Friday,
March 11 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, 330 White
Ave. Interment will be at the Veteran’s Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. following
Mass at 2830 Riverside Parkway (D Road).
