MILES BOWN DIED JULY 4. Miles BOWN, 54, died at the Bown Ranch north of Wolcott, July 4 of a blood clot on the heart.
Mr. BOWN, who is in the sheep raising business with his brother, J. C. (Doc) BOWN, suffered the attack at the Bown Brothers summer ranch near Wolcott, Friday, and fell down stairs in the home, when he became unconscious.
For a number of years Mr. BOWN has made his home at the ranch during the summer, when the BOWN sheep were brought into this country for summer range, living in Provo, Utah, during the winter months.
He is survived by his wife, Lola; two sons, Shafter, who is in the Army and Roger, 18; two brothers, J.C. and Max BOWN, both of Provo. His father, Lafayette; his mother, a brother and a sister preceded him in death.
Mr. BOWN was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion and the elks lodge.
The remains were taken from the Bowman Funeral Chapel in Eagle for burial in Provo Tuesday.
