FREDA BRACEGIRDLE 1918-1993.
Freda BRACEGIRDLE died Jan. 12 at Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs. She was 74.
Mrs. BRACEGIRDLE was born June 14, 1918 in Denver to Frederick and Margaret HARDER and married Ralph Willard BRACEGIRDLE on March 3, 1937 during a ceremony in Erie, Colo.
She worked as a homemaker and enjoyed reading, playing cards, being with her family and grandchildren, dancing, and was a member of the Eastern Star.
Freda and her husband moved from Erie to Carbondale in 1955, and then to Gypsum in 1989.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Joey GOODE, and survived by Joey's sister, Nicki ADOLPH.
Survivors include her husband, Ralph BRACEGIRDLE of Gypsum; children Marti BOOK of Gypsum, Dennis BRACEGIRDLE and Fred BRACEGIRDLE, both of Carbondale; sisters Mary DAVIES of Dragerton, Ut., Renee SNYDER of Loveland, Colo.; and Pauline ZING of Erie, Colo.; grandchildren Larry, Cory, and Ralph BRACEGIRDLE, of Carbondale, and Stacie, Ronnie and Donnie BOOK, of Gypsum, Nicky ADOLPH of Denver; great-grandchildren Cody and Trent BOOK, and Cameron ADOLPH. A grandchild, Joseph GOODE, is deceased.
