John Robert BRADY, 80, of Minturn died in Denver May 23, 1966 following an illness of six months.
A member of Annunciation Parish, Leadville, Mr. BRADY's funeral service was conducted by Father Thomas STONE at St. Patrick's Church in Minturn May 27, and burial was in the Riverview Cemetery in Minturn with Moynahan-O'Malia Funeral Directors in charge.
Mr. BRADY was born in Lonaconing, Md. Dec. 14, 1885, the son of Margaret and Edward BRADY.
He came to Leadville in 1893, having previously lived in Aspen three years and worked as a miner and maintenance man.
He had lived in Minturn since the early 1930's, and on July 3, 1942 was married to Norma COVALT at Cheyenne, Wyo.
He is survived by his wife of Minturn; three step-sons, Norman and Garry of Minturn and Ronald of Roy, Utah; two step-daughters: Joan FLAHERTY of Colorado Springs and Betty SANDERS of Minturn; one brother William of Salida and two sisters: Mary BERRY and Margaret SULLIVAN of Denver.
Pallbearers were Ernest WILLIAMS, James SMALICH, Richard ALBER, Arthur GUY, Edward RUDER and Harold WISTER.
