Musette Lee Tardif, 88, went to
join her husband, Kenneth, on
March 30, 2011.
Musette was born November 1,
1922 in Columbia, South Carolina
to Otis Lafayette Dunn and
Musette Olivia (Cook) Dunn. She
graduated from South High
School, Denver, CO in 1940 and went on to graduate from Colorado
Women's College in 1942. On November 21, 1943 she married
the love of her life, Kenneth Warren Tardif, at the City Park Baptist
Church, in Denver. They had four children. Kenneth and Musette
enjoyed their retirement in Parachute, Colorado. They loved trips in
the mountains, and traveling to Moab, Utah, as well as Alaska.
Musette was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents
and her brother, Sydney Dunn.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth (Norita) Tardif, Jr.; Allen
Tardif; Kent (Gwen) Tardif, and Susan (Kennet) Plantell; grandchildren,
Stig (Laura), Tage, Jeremy (Barbara), Jared, Jodie (Troy),
Dara (Byron), Amy, Will (Kari), Kayla, and Randy; great grandchildren,
Gavin, Hunter, Paiten, Jackson, Nikki, Blake and another on
the way.
A Memorial Service is planned for Friday, April 8, 1:00 p.m at
Rifle Funeral Home. Pastor John Jayne will officiate.
Interment will follow, Saturday, April 9, 1:00 pm at Fairmount
Cemetery in Denver.
