Born Lawrence Berlin on July 30, 1927 in Cleveland, Ohio to Alex
and Fanny Berlin. He graduated from John Adams High School in
1946. Skip served in the U.S. Army in 1946-47 stationed in Virginia
and Germany. He married Miriam Sylvia “Mickey” Dachner
of Cleveland Heights, Ohio on January 4, 1948 at the Cleveland
Heights Temple. He lived in Cleveland until 1955 when he relocated
to Denver. He had been in the automobile sales profession
since 1948, starting with Studebaker, and locally worked at Shellabarger
Chevrolet, Dana Motors, Turner Chevrolet and eventually
owned his own Chevy/Buick Dealership in Fort Morgan, Colorado.
Skip is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mickey Berlin of Grand
Junction and six children, Linda (Mark) Vincent of Casper, Wyoming;
Bonnie (Henry) Rohn of Fort Morgan, Colorado; Franki
(Bob) Bertram of Firestone, Colorado; Aileen (John) Barry of
Greeley, Colorado; Gary (Robbie) Berlin of Broomfield, Colorado;
Annette (Bill) Wulff of Grand Junction; 12 grandchildren and eight
great grandchildren. Skip's siblings Jack Berlin, Dorothy Herzog,
and Ester Kral have all passed away.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Diabetes Association.
A Celebration of Life ceremony to be held at Callahan-Edfast
Mortuary at 2:00 p.m. on Friday April 8th.

Center.

Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Mr. Berlin was an automobile
salesman.
He is survived by his wife,
Miriam “Mickey”; one son,
Gary of Broomfi eld; fi ve daughters,
Linda Vincent of Casper,
Wyo., Bonnie Rohn of Fort Morgan,
Franki Bertram of Firestone,
Aileen Barry of Greeley
and Annette Wulff of Grand
Junction; 12 grandchildren; and
eight great-grandchildren.
