Versa Eileen Burns, 80, of Loveland, born May 6, 1931, died peacefully in her home on Feb. 19.

She is survived by two sisters, Vera Allison and Mary Lou Cummings; three children, Kathy Bitterman, Kevin Thompson and Jerry (Deanna) Thompson; daughter-in-law Helen Thompson; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Versa was preceded in death by husband Lee Burns, son-in-law Fred Bitterman and son Greg Thompson.

Graveside service will be held at Sunset View Cemetery in Eagle at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25. A reception will follow at the Eagle County Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall.
