Clifford Gene Smith of Gypsum died Feb. 5 in Longmont. He was 57.
Cliff was born Aug. 2, 1955, in Fort Ord, Calif., to Kenneth L. and Winifred Smith. He joined the U.S. Army right out of high school and retired from the Colorado Army National Guard in April 1996.
He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Cliff was a hard working family man who would give the shirt off his back to help a friend.
Cliff passed away after a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings, Iris and Kenneth, and his grandson, Donnie.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Smith, of Gypsum, and his daughter, Rebecca Rademacher, and her family of Longmont. He is also survied by his sister, Kathy Ramirez, and her family
Graveside Services were held on Feb. 10.
