Edward Henry BRAUER was born October 11, 1906 to Henry and Ida BRAUER in Prague, Okla. He entered into rest on Sept. 30, 1999 in Glenwood Springs. He was 92.
He was in the U.S. Army beginning in 1942. He became self employed, as a masonry products aslesman after his discharge from the Army. Mr. BRAUER retired in 1978 and moved from Colorado Springs to Paonia, and then in 1993 he moved to Eagle.
He was always taking things apart and trying to improve them; he loved to utter and could fix almost anything he put his hands on. He was an avid gardener, he loved to work with his hands. He enjoyed growing fruit as well as an abundance of other things in his garden.
He was preceded in death by his wife Velma in 1996.
He is survived by his children: Donna BLACKMER of Eagle, Garry BRAUER of Littleton, and one sister Anna DAVENPORT of Colorado Springs. He is also survived by his good friend and housemate Dale BRISCOE of Eagle; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Memorial services will take place in Colorado Springs at a later date, cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Farnum-Holt of Glenwood Springs is in charge of arrangements.
